- Adobe Audition 1.5 and 2.0 are NOT supported. These hosts may work for some users, but Audition apparently insists on loading each preset into memory the first time it runs, which can take over half an hour because SFX Machine RT has so many presets. SFX Machine RT may work correctly afterwards, if the host doesn't run out of memory and crash. Adobe's web site says: "Effects plug-in support is limited to the VST (and XFM) plug-ins that are included with the Adobe Audition 2.0 installation and the VST and DirectX technologies as they are implemented within the application. Adobe technical support does not support problems due to the use of third-party plug-ins." Until Audition provides a way to bypass this initial loading of all presets, we cannot recommend or support the use of Adobe Audition as a host for SFX Machine RT.
