This "Sound Machine" Happy Meal toy, part of the 1994 "Makin' Movies" series, was the original inspiration for SFX Machine. It was included in certain specially unmarked boxes of SFX Machine, back in the old days when it came in boxes.
This advanced, digitally-operated multi-effects device included three presets: a slider-controlled whistle (in blue), a boingy plucked rubber-band sound (also in blue), and a yellow clicker knob.
Thanks to the web, I was quickly able to corner the world's market and provide these devices to the audio professionals who would most appreciate them.
I have a few left, and I just might send some out to folks who e-mail me their custom SFX Machine presets.
You know whose trademark this is; don't make me say it.
