INFINITUDE!™ 1.0 Dynamic Exaggeration Plug-in!

Saratoga, CA – April 1, 2008 The Sound Guy, Inc. has announced the release of INFINITUDE!™, their long-awaited dynamic exaggeration plug-in!

According to The Sound Guy, INFINITUDE! won't just make your music louder!

It won't just make your music ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE LOUDER!

With INFINITUDE!, your music will be INFINITELY LOUDER than anything the public has ever heard (or will ever hear again)! So loud, it will literally set the world on fire!

Using an undoubtedly patentable divide-by-zero process, INFINITUDE! ensures that your music is louder, and therefore better, than anyone else's!

"We were working on an app that would eliminate the +/- 1.0 limit on CD signal levels, allowing the range to go all the way to +/- 1.1!" explained CEO Earl Vickers! "But then one of our competitors came out with a product called Eleven, which pretty much killed the marketing plan!

"We went back to the drawing board and came up with a brand new concept: Twelve! But the engineering guys pointed out that our advantage would be temporary! We needed a way to leapfrog the competition, to go beyond incremental improvements and WIN THE LOUDNESS WARS ONCE AND FOR ALL!"

Enter INFINITUDE!, the Shock-and-Awe of the audio world!

INFINITUDE! lets you EMPHASIZE! EVERY! SINGLE! NOTE!

But The Sound Guy hasn't forgotten about those important spaces between the notes! With INFINITUDE!, the quiet, sensitive moments can be JUST AS LOUD AS THE REST OF YOUR SONG — OR EVEN LOUDER! The built-in Subtlety Remover!™ eliminates any hint of nuance, but without flattening your music! Instead, YOUR MUSIC WILL FLATTEN EVERYTHING WITHIN EARSHOT (basically, the whole universe)!

INFINITUDE! — Music never hurt this good before!

System Requirements:
We recommend speakers with an 8/0 ohm input impedance and a power amp with unlimited headroom!

The Sound Guy, Inc. is the manufacturer of Backwards Machine, ReSpatializer, SFX Machine RT, and SFX Machine Pro, an audio multi-effects plug-in that has won Editor's Choice awards from Electronic Musician and Mac Life magazines!
Vielklang harmonization plug-in, and SFX Machine Updates

The Sound Guy, Inc. has announced new updates of their audio effects plug-ins, SFX Machine RT, SFX Machine Pro and Backwards Machine. They have also begun marketing Vielklang, an innovative harmonization plug-in from Zplane Development.

Vielklang harmonizes monophonic voices or instruments by analyzing the melody and using voice leading rules to find the best harmonies. The benefits include more natural-sounding harmonies with less input from the user.

"We were knocked out when we saw the pre-release version of Vielklang at NAMM," said Earl Vickers, founder of The Sound Guy, Inc. "Traditional harmonization programs tend to use parallel harmonies -- the voices all march up, then they all march down. Vielklang uses music theory to figure out good voice leading, the way an arranger would do."

Key Product Features:
- Thinks in harmony progressions instead of intervals
- Lets you view and edit the results in a piano roll display
- No key configuration required
- Use as a full-fledged sample player instrument
- Trigger different harmonizations with MIDI

SFX Machine Pro is an advanced multi-effects plug-in with over 300 presets. It recently won Editor's Choice awards from Electronic Musician and Mac Life magazines. SFX Machine RT is a streamlined, low-cost member of the SFX Machine family. Backwards Machine lets you reverse continuous audio in real time.

SFX Machine Audio Software Featured in Withdrawn Novel

SFX MACHINE FEATURED IN WITHDRAWN NOVEL
Book Contract Cancelled Due to Plagiarism

Seaside, CA, April 1, 2006 — SFX Machine, an award-winning audio effects plug-in, features prominently in My Totally Excellent Life, the "chick lit" novel by Maakya Vaidyanathan-Miller that was recently withdrawn by the publisher due to extensive plagiarism.
According to Earl Vickers, software developer and CEO of The Sound Guy, Inc., "SFX Machine was mentioned repeatedly throughout the book. I can't think of another young adult novel so heavily focused on one particular piece of audio effects software."
The program plays a major role in the book's storyline. Over 50 pages of the 148-page novel mention the software. At one point, a character quotes an entire paragraph verbatim from the SFX Machine user manual.
The book's plot revolves around the adventures of two young women, but it also involves concepts like feedback, "strange loops," "shoplifting," and an archetypal figure named "Ouroborus," a snake that eats its own tail. Central to the novel is the idea that everything modulates everything else, a concept apparently inspired by the SFX Machine architecture.
An excerpt from the novel can be seen at http://www.sfxmachine.com/news.html.
About The Sound Guy, Inc.
The Sound Guy, Inc. publishes the SFX Machine family of audio effects plug-ins. A distributed company, The Sound Guy, Inc. has developers in Seaside, San Francisco and Santa Barbara, California; Massachusetts; Singapore; and England. The Sound Guy, Inc. recently announced the release of SFX Machine Pro, a modular multi-effects plug-in that allows users to create their own audio effects from scratch.
For more information, visit the web site at http://sfxmachine.com.
PRESS CONTACT
Earl Vickers, CEO, The Sound Guy, Inc.
sfx@sfxmachine.com
http://www.sfxmachine.com

Seaside, CA - April 28, 2006
The Sound Guy, Inc. has announced the release of SFX Machine Pro 1.0, an audio multi-effects plug-in for Mac and Windows. SFX Machine Pro is the latest and most advanced entry in the award-winning SFX Machine family. It comes with over 300 effects, including more than 50 new effects. In addition, a modular Preset Editor allows users to create their own effects from scratch.
"Ease of use has always been a top priority," said Earl Vickers, CEO of The Sound Guy, Inc. "At the same time, we wanted to give our power users access to the underlying modular synthesis engine, a rich environment full of strange feedback loops, where anything can modulate anything else or die trying."
The plug-in provides Tempo Sync, which matches LFO frequencies and delay times to the host sequencer's tempo, and it includes an output limiter, a new interface, and twice as much delay memory as SFX Machine RT. Automated parameter control is possible via a simple "MIDI Learn" interface, and a Randomize button allows quick experimentation.
Streamlined for use in audio production environments, SFX Machine has been used to do sound design for radio production, TV shows, feature films, CDs and video games. While SFX Machine Pro has an extensive collection of effects, from the conventional to the bizarre, it also serves in everyday use as a "swiss army knife" of audio utilities.
SFX Machine Pro 1.0 is available in VST and Audio Unit formats for Mac OS X, and VST format for Windows.
For more information, visit the web site at http://sfxmachine.com .
The press kit, including screenshots and logos, is at http://www.sfxmachine.com/presskit/ .
A demo version can be downloaded from http://www.sfxmachine.com/pro/downloads.html .

Creative use of video game speech can grab players' attention and engage their emotions, allowing them to identify with characters who might otherwise seem flat and lifeless.
The Simpsons TV show is an acknowledged masterpiece of voice design. Imagine removing the distinctive voices of Bart, Homer, Marge, her chain-smoking sisters, etc., and replacing them with generic voices. It wouldn't quite be the same, would it? Voice design can be just as important in the world of video games.
Here are some guidelines for using voice to enhance your games...
